Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
The highlight of Ms. King's career was the joy of seeing the number of students who are now doctors, nurses and medical professionals, who returned to thank her for providing them with the necessary foundation to serve the communities in which they reside.

What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her success to her hard work and passion for her profession, as well as to God and the examples set by her parents.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she was inspired by three of her family members, who are doctors. She was also inspired by her late mother, who served on the American Red Cross board for many years.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. King taught a practical nursing teaching program at the University of the Virgin Islands for eight years and lectured on public health programs to substance abusers. Recently retired from her supervisory position, she is currently working with the Catholic Diocese of St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands.

Ms. King is the only child of her late parents, Governor Cyril King and Mrs. Agnes Schuster-King. She is carrying out her mother's work with her colleague, Charlotte A. Banks. She would like to thank all of her family and friends for the support and encouragement that has gotten her to where she is today. To her parents: they are forever in her heart!

Supervising four people; Stipulating the required employee category; Making equipment requests; Maintaining updates; Documenting reports; Reporting to appropriate medical personnel; Evaluating personnel annually; Attending committee meetings regarding forms, policies and procedures; Budgeting; Finding the most cost-effective histo-pathologic procedures
