He has been in the oil and energy industry for more than 37 years. He grew up surrounded by the industry, because his father worked for SunOil. He worked in various positions, including as a roughneck, roustabout, slab hand, shop foreman, dispatcher, field sales/service technician, facility manager, district manager, global product line manager, general manager, and vice president of operations.

Mr. Norris has extensive experience in the oil and energy industry spanning nearly 40 years. As vice president of operations, he oversees onsite team development in 13 locations, analysis, forecasting, trajectories, testing, drilling, presentations, infrastructures, logistics, and the management of critical well high pressure equipment and well control operations and applications.

He was raised in a Sun Oil Company camp and worked for various oilfield service companies during his college years, including Flournoy Drilling Co. (Roughneck), Marine Drilling Co. (Roughneck & Roustabout) and Alice Specialty Co. (Drilling Fluids Transport Driver).
