He became involved in his profession after working as a space shuttle specialist for NASA and the Lockheed Martin Corporation.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Cruz was appointed by EADS as a software safety and reliability consultant for NATO’s Trilateral Frigate Cooperation Program in the Netherlands. With 30 years of field experience, he has developed and published reports on system hazard analysis and safety assessments for military, defense and aerospace systems. He has also conducted hazard and operability studies, and implemented NASA safety programs. Mr. Cruz has filled a variety of engineering capacities for the following companies: General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, Smiths Aerospace LLC, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc., the Lockheed Martin Corporation, Ball Aerospace and the European Aerospace and Defense Systems.
