Since then, a diverse number of bread and tortilla bakeries have been acquired. Today, this entire legacy has become Bimbo Bakeries USA. Among the most important acquisitions that have positioned Bimbo Bakeries USA as a premier baker in the U.S. is the purchase of Mrs. Baird’s Bakeries, the leading independent baker in Texas, and the purchase of the Western Division of George Weston Bakeries.
