Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
The highlight of her career was being named valedictorian of a class of almost 700 and speaking at the Greek Theater for her high school graduation, then subsequently achieving dean's list status at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Beyond achievements on paper though, she considers all of her patients' accolades for the time she spent caring for them, and for being a good listener and communicator, among her greatest career achievements. Mrs. Record-Halpern always tries to make herself available to their needs.

Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because of her personal experience with chronic illness in her family, and her dedication to educate herself to treat diseases. Mrs. Record-Halpern also had a propensity for math and science in school.

Mrs. Record-Halpern has spent more than 10 years in college as a postgraduate student in professional medical education. She has spent more than 20 years performing medical research, clinical care and mentoring within the workforce. She considers gaining the trust, respect and admiration of her patients to be one of her greatest career achievements. Mrs. Record-Halpern considers being a keen listener with good follow-through and attention to detail essential to being a successful medical practitioner. She also has multiple medical journal publications.
